Not only is paddle boarding enlivening and peaceful, it’s one incredible workout too! Plus, standing offers you a dynamic view of the water, and the surrounding landscape. –And there couldn’t be a better place to experience the pleasure of paddle boarding than gorgeous, happening, Jericho Beach. Beginner Small Group Windsurfing Lesson (2 hrs.)
Windsurfing is exhilarating, there’s just no doubt about it. If you’ve always dreamt of experiencing the thrill of sailing across the water, Windsure Adventure Watersports beginner lesson is the just right place to set your dream in motion. You’ll learn the basics of windsurfing in a safe environment surrounded by other newcomers to the sport and instructors that are eager to help you develop critical windsurfing skills. Your lesson begins with theory, then land simulation and culminates with on the water instruction. People flock from all over the world to windsurf these waters- grab your chance to find out why! Beginner Windsurfing Program (3 hrs.)
So you’ve always wanted to learn how to windsurf? Here’s the opportunity of a lifetime. Enjoy three hours of thrills as you join other newcomers to the sport and take part in windsurfing theory, land simulation and twice the on-the-water instruction time. Instructors are especially skilled at working with beginners, making you feel comfortable and relaxed from the get-go. You’ll learn how to sail a windsurfer across the wind, turn around, and land back where you began. Come see the other side of Vancouver- from the perch of a windsurfer! Super Semi-Private Beginner Windsurfing Lesson (3 hrs.)
Enjoy near one-on-one instruction with Windsure Adventure Watersports semi-private beginner windsurfing lesson on legendary Jericho Beach. Class is limited to three students per instructor, allowing for ample personal attention and maximum skill acquisition. Your skilled instructor will help you learn all the basic techniques required to sail a windsurfer by using a windsurfing simulator, other special equipment, and genuine first-rate teaching techniques! Come explore Vancouver’s hidden windsurfing treasure at Jericho Beach. Participants must be 12 years old or 90 pounds. Excellent student to teacher ratio of 3:1! Skimboarding Group Lesson (2 hrs.)
Don’t be fooled, skimboarding is not just for the young and hip; people of nearly all ages and abilities have successfully mastered the art of skimboarding, and now here’s your chance to investigate the sport in one of the best skimboarding locations in the world: Spanish Banks. At low tide, flat sand and small tide pools abound creating ideal skimboarding conditions. You’ll learn the basics of skimboarding in a small group environment- which provides exceptional teaching opportunities. Surrounded by good people, faultless beach and lead by an experienced skimboarding instructor, you’re in for a few unbelievable hours on the water. Minimum of three students for class to run.
