Hop on board a quad and let one of Canadian Off-Road Adventures’ experienced guides take you through some great backcountry on this two-hour jaunt. Explore the nearby Purcell mountains, going deep into alpine forests and keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife along the way. A word of warning: this short trip may just make you hungry for more ATV adventuring.

The Ultimate Ride (5 hrs.)
Spend several hours exploring the backcountry around Golden on the seat of an all-terrain vehicle. Even if you’ve never ridden one of these machines before, your friendly local guide can show you the ropes, or just give a few pointers, directions or anecdotes for more seasoned drivers. These guys know the surrounding wilderness like the back of their hands, and will take you to some stunning spots that you have to see to believe. After a stop for a filling lunch loaded with local fixings, continue your investigation of this beautiful terrain, whether it be via climbing a mountainside, riding through a shallow stream or trying to catch a glimpse of an elusive marmot or black bear.
