You’ll meet the teamster and Percheron draft horses who will be pulling your sleigh at Nicklaus North, which has been transformed from a world-class golf course to a winter wonderland. Your half-hour ride will take you past Green Lake and through the forest before looping back to the Den Restaurant, where you’ll stop for your four courses of fondue. This is the only mountain sleigh ride in Whistler, and will take you across the snowy ski runs and up the mountain to a lookout where you can see the twinkling lights of downtown Whistler. As you get cozy underneath your blankets and enjoy the ride, your driver is happy to answer any questions you have about the area, while the two Percheron draft horses pulling your sleigh are friendly and enjoy photo ops — although some of them are a bit on the shy side. Your tour will pause at a cabin for a warming cup of hot cocoa, then it’s back down the mountain. Not ready for this enchanting evening to end?
