Just across the Golden Gate bridge lies Muir Woods, a redwood grove that President Roosevelt made into a National Monument over a century ago. Thanks to his foresight, you’ll have the opportunity to meander along Muir Woods “Nature Trail”, leading you into the heart of this virgin coastal forest.

Next you’ll travel to Sausalito, a picturesque California village that is home to cliff-dangling classic cottages and houseboat communities. You’ll have the chance to meander through its charming boutiques, stroll its art galleries, or grab a fresh meal at one of its many waterfront restaurants.

Included in this package is a voucher for a one-hour narrated cruise of San Francisco Bay, where you’ll ride under the Golden Gate Bridge, cruise past Alcatraz and hit all the harbor highlights. Your open ticket allows you to choose which departure you’d like to go on, whether it’s before or after your bus tour, or even the following day.

Getting to Your Activity

You can either meet your bus at Gray Line’s headquarters at Pier 41 at Fisherman’s Wharf, or arrange a hotel pick up and drop off.

Your Bay Cruise is a separate ticket. You’ll be issued a voucher and given a ferry schedule, so you can enjoy your cruise at your leisure either the day of your bus tour or the day after. Cruises depart from Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf. You’ll be provided with a schedule.
