Tyee Fishing Adventure
by Sea Beyond AdventuresIf you’ve ever fished on the West Coast, you’ve likely heard of the Tyee Club. This legendary angling order is only awarded to folks who can catch a 30-plus pound chinook salmon in Campbell River’s Tyee Pool using a very specific set of tackle and a small rowboat. Try your hand at gaining membership with Sea Beyond’s Tyee fishing package. After grabbing your Tyee registration, you and your experienced guide will head out to the Tyee Pool in a regulation-sized rowboat and begin your hunt for the sizable salmon that will gain you entrance to this exclusive club. Even if you don’t hook the big one, you’ll still have a great time — and learn to appreciate the tools of the modern-day angler. Head out on the water for the morning or evening/afternoon tide, or opt for a full day package. This package available for AM or PM tides or full-day durations. This tour can accommodate a maximum of two people. This charter is offered from July 15-August 15.
