Then, jump on a shuttle and make your way to Mascot Mine, situated on a cliff overlooking the Similkameen Valley. Once you arrive at Mascot Mine, you’ll come to appreciate the daily life of a mine worker- including the risks associated with it. Then try your hand at gold panning on the Similkameen River system and wander through the Snaza’ist Discovery Centre for greater insight into this fascinating profession.
