Discover a beautiful island village, only a short cruise from Pacific Harbour. Step aboard and begin your journey with a boat ride up Shark's Fin Passage and past Bird Island and Kavu Kavu Reef, where you'll want to keep your eyes peeled for flying fish and other animals. Once you arrive at Yanuca, you'll be greeted by the locals with a sacred kava ceremony. Now it's time to explore the island. You'll see a performance by local elementary school children, discover a cave that is home to the remains of Yanuca's first chief, and feast on a lunch cooked in a lovo oven. After lunch, you'll be treated to a fire walking ceremony and be able to peruse crafts made by local artisans and chat with them about their works before boarding the boat and heading back to Pacific Harbour.
