Downtown Orlando includes none of the major theme parks, these are located in other cities in the metropolitan area that include Altamonte Springs, Davenport, Kissimmee, and Winter Park. The city abounds with unique outdoor sporting activities for adventure seekers. Fly in an open-cockpit 1930s' biplane, take a trip on an airboat through a swampy wilderness, or take an early morning hot air balloon ride over the Central Florida treetops. Add more than 150 golf courses, numerous tennis facilities and hundreds of lakes for fishing and boating, and you’ll understand why Orlando is a sportsman's paradise. And the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. There is a bevy of nighttime options available. Among the favorites are Cirque de Soleil, Blue Man Group or any one of Orlando's many dinner theaters. There is always something new going on here, from the classic Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World® Resort to the magical Wizardry World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando® Resort, there's a world for everyone to escape into.
