Want to go beyond Manhattan? NYSee's Two Borough Tour will take you to the 9/11 Memorial, Lower Manhattan, and Brooklyn, all in one five-hour trip. You'll meet your guide and group at Pier 84, where you'll board a NYC Water Taxi and motor down the Hudson River and enjoy the cityscape views as you make your way to Battery Park on the south tip of Manhattan. Your guide will share the history of the area with you (and maybe even let you in on a few secrets) as you explore the park and then head up to the World Trade Center Memorial, a sanctuary where many go to reflect on the terrible events of that day in 2001. Your walk continues down historic streets towards the financial district and eventually to Pier 17, where your group will board another water taxi and cross the East River to visit Brooklyn. First stop is Dumbo (or Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), a funky neighborhood filled with old warehouses, galleries, eateries and great views. Spend some more time checking out Brooklyn before hopping back on the water taxi and doing a drive by of the Statue of Liberty and Elis Island and returning to the pier you started your trip at. This is a packed day of exploring.
