- Trust us; you’ve never experienced a swing like this before! Wind in your face, a thrill in your belly, and invigoration all around; that’s what the King Swing is all about. This isn’t little kid’s stuff. At first, a burst of adrenalin will catch your attention as you rocket through the air in a safe, comfortable paragliding harness. Then, as your speed settles, you’ll relax into a gentle sway and have plenty of time to grasp your new-found confidence. Experience the rare opportunity to be thrillingly suspended over a 150-foot abyss while enjoying amazing panoramic views of the Nanaimo River Canyon.
- Ages 12+ with a minimum weight of 170lbs (77kgs) per ride, with each participant weighing at least 95lbs (43kgs.)
- Max weight is 400lbs (181kgs.)
- Swing with a friend; tandem swinging is gladly allowed as long as riders fall within weight restrictions. If you arrived solo and do not meet the weight requirement, WildPlay is happy to offer a team member to swing with you.

WildPlay Nanaimo is located on Vancouver Island, 75 minutes north of Victoria, and approximately 15 minutes south of Nanaimo at 35 Nanaimo River Road.
Tips for a successful and safe day at WildPlay Nanaimo:
- It often gets a bit chilly on the bridge as you prepare for your swing- dress appropriately.
- Long hair MUST be tied back. Ask a staff person for a hair band if you require one.
- No slip-on shoes.
- No baggy clothing.
- No shirts wrapped around the waist.
- Sturdy shoes, worn securely to the foot are required.
- Strongly recommend no jewelry (especially necklaces or loose bracelets which could get caught in equipment).
- Check the current weather forecast and wear appropriate clothing. Snug fitting clothing is best. A change of clothes may be a good idea too.
- Bring a waterbottle.
- Cameras encouraged (at your own risk).
- Cash to purchase a snack, souvenir or additional Element.

Departure
WildPlay Nanaimo is located on Vancouver Island, 75 minutes north of Victoria, and approximately 15 minutes south of Nanaimo at 35 Nanaimo River Road.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the required waiver forms (each member of your party must sign one).
Please note that if you are bringing any children along that you are not the legal guardian of, we require a signed waiver from the parent or legal guardian.
Failure to have a signed waiver unfortunately means that you will be refused entry.
