With a population of 87,017, the city of Kamloops is the 4th largest municipality in British Columbia. Known as Canada’s Tourism Capital, Kamloops was named one of the top 3 GamesTown 2010 communities. Consisting of hills and grasslands, it is a perfect spot for hiking, camping, and biking. It is also packed with 13 golf courses, including the Tobiano Golf Course, which was named as Canada’s best new course in 2008. Its numerous lakes and two major rivers also provide a variety of water sports such as rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and tubing. Even during the winters, you’ll never run out of things to do in Kamloops.
