Taking to the water with Hawaii’s friendly spinner dolphins is something many visitors to the island state want to check off their bucket list, and there’s ample opportunity to do so. Companies offering dolphin swims post a code of conduct for swimming with these wild creatures, so be sure to pay attention to the instructions and help to minimize your impact on the animals. Most trips take place on Oahu’s leeward coast, so be sure to choose a company that offers transportation from Honolulu to the snorkel site if you don’t have a vehicle.
