You’ll jump into a specially designed aluminum cage and the excitement begins. Sharks may glide by, offering you the unique opportunity to watch these impressive creatures in their natural habitat. You’ll soon understand why they’re at the top of the underwater food chain! While you may see a variety of sharks, including Gray reef sharks, Galapagos, Sandbar and Hammerheads, other sea-life such as gorgeous green sea turtles and dolphins may come to show off. Discover Scuba in Hanauma Bay

Explore the calm waters around the inner reef, or, if conditions permit and you’re a strong swimmer, get adventurous in the bay’s outer reef. Regardless of which reef you visit, there isn’t a more spectacular place for your first-ever dive. Highlights Enjoy your first dive experience in beautiful Hanauma Bay. Any level of experience is welcome, you do not have to be a pro to enjoy this dive. The inner reef has a maximum dive depth of 8 to 10 feet, while the outer reef can reach as deep as 40 feet. Small, intimate dives with a maximum of four guests per tour. This tour operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, except holidays. Expect to encounter sea turtles, tropical fish, rays, sharks, eels and much more. Highlights Wide variety of introductory dive sites, including the YO257, San Pedro and Sea Tiger wrecks; Rainbow Reef; Ewa Pinnacles and Moe’s Reef.
