Learn how to make traditional Hawaiian arts and crafts, see the beginning of an underground Imu ceremony, feast upon a filling buffet and be surrounded by the songs and dances of the Polynesian peoples with this well-rounded luau package. You’ll be picked up at your Waikiki hotel and taken to the Paradise Cove, one of Hawaii’s largest and most respected luau shows.

You’ll be welcomed with a fresh flower lei greeting (plus a Mai Tai and some drink tickets for 21-plus guests) and then left to explore Paradise Cove’s 12-acre property. Visit the Hawaiian Village to learn how to make leis or temporary Polynesian tattoos, or perhaps test your mettle with some ‘O’o ihe (spear throwing) or Moa pahe’e (dart sliding), all while performers fill the courtyard and village with song and dance. You’ll also partake in a shower of flowers, where you will stand on a white sand beach and watch as adept tree-climbers scale palm trees in order to release bundles of fragrant flowers on to onlookers below. Next you’ll be able to help drag nets ashore in a traditional Hukilau fishing ceremony, watch a Royal Court procession, then visit Hawaii’s only Imu Amphitheatre, where you will see your meal prepared in a traditional underground oven.

As the sun sets, you’ll sit down to enjoy a buffet meal as the dinner show begins. Be entertained by song and dance from all of Polynesia, including fire spinning, hula, and more. As the day winds to a close, you’ll leave with a full belly and good memories.
