Spend your day amongst the most amazing rapids Kicking Horse River offers. The Rocky Mountains are notorious for some incredible white water and Kicking Horse River is no exception. This whitewater excursion presents you with the most exciting sections of the river. –An excellent choice for those on a time crunch, or those who just want to jump in and experience immediate white water action. You’ll get soaked, for sure, but the thrill of every moment is worth it. Enjoy the exhilaration that accompanies several sections of continuous Class 3 and 4 whitewater. After you’ve experienced your share of rafting thrills, enjoy a well deserved float right into the town of Golden.
- This activity is appropriate for those aged 16 and older. No experience is necessary. Boat is limited to 8 guests to allow for maximum comfort and personal attention.
- Glacier Raft Company’s photographer will be taking your picture and their guides will be filming, so check out the pics and HD videos back at base!
- White water rafting activities operate from the May long weekend and run every day until Labour Day weekend in September.

Inclusions
All safety gear and equipment to include:
Wetsuits, neoprene socks or booties, splash tops, fleeces, helmets, life jackets, self-bailing rafts and paddles.

This is a half day activity, lasting from approximately 11:45am – 4:00pm (Mon-Fri) and 4:30pm – 8:00pm (Sat-Sun)
Glacier Raft Company recommends you bring:
- Swimsuit
- Old running shoes or sport sandals that can get wet.
- Sunscreen

Terms & Conditions
Class 3 rapids are those that are easy to maneuver rapids, waves. Class 4 rapids are intense rapids, requiring technical maneuvering.
This trip can only be run at certain water levels and is subject to substitution if water levels become too high. If this should occur, we will run the middle canyon section of white water twice.
All departures are subject to suitable weather and water conditions and may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the operator.
Groups gladly accommodated.
